Vacuum-formed blisters, also known as thermoformed blisters, are packaging components commonly used to encase and display products securely while allowing visibility and protection. This packaging method involves the use of vacuum forming technology to create custom-shaped plastic cavities that fit the contours of the product being packaged.

Vacuum-formed blisters are typically made from thermoplastic materials such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PET (polyethylene terephthalate), or PETG (glycol-modified PET). The choice of material depends on factors like clarity, rigidity, and recyclability.

A custom mold or tool is created based on the shape and size of the product to be packaged. The mold can be made from materials like aluminum, wood, or resin.
