Injection molded components are produced using the injection molding process, which is a widely used manufacturing method for creating plastic parts with high precision and efficiency. This process involves injecting molten plastic material into a mold cavity under high pressure, where it cools and solidifies to form the desired shape.

The process begins with the design of the mold, which is typically made from metal (such as steel or aluminum) and consists of two halves (the core and the cavity) that come together to form the desired part shape.

Plastic pellets or granules are fed into a heated barrel of an injection molding machine. The material is melted and mixed to a uniform consistency. The molten plastic is injected under high pressure into the mold cavity through a nozzle and runner system. The pressure helps to fill the mold completely and pack the material densely.
